In a statement issued, the German printing press manufacturer confirmed that it had been forced to initiate insolvency proceedings following a "dramatic downturn in incoming orders" since mid-July.

Dubai based Express Print (Publishers) have won a 3-year contract to print 1 million copies of Etisalat's Yellow Pages.

Founded in 1988, by Abdul Qadir Mohammed and Abdullah Zubair, Express Print were the first to publish Etisalat's yellow pages along with Abu Dhabi based Al Wahda printers. The current contract was won through an open tender after more than 2 decades.

IPEX Digital Middle East to debut in ME with Abu Dhabi as chosen venue

Informa Exhibitions is set to launch IPEX Digital Middle East at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) to provide a platform for digital technology in commercial and large format printing sectors in the Middle East region.

HP Middle East, in conjunction with Dubai Police organised a 'Roundtable Conference' at Emirates Towers in Dubai, to discuss the growing challenges posed by counterfeit products in the UAE.

HP has announced that Carl Boustany has been appointed HP IHPS segment specialist for Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA) - Greece, Turkey, Africa and Middle East.

Based in Dubai, Boustany will provide support for the IHPS team within the MEMA region, promoting the HP T200 and the T300 Inkjet Web Presses.
