Titce Printing Press invests in two machines due to growth

Dubai-based Titce Printing Press has invested in a four-colour Heidelberg CD 102 and a three clamp Eurobind 1200 perfect binding machine.

On the company’s choice of machine, managing director, Hassan Ali Dakroub said: “We decided to go with the CD 102 because we get many commercial jobs requiring thick cardboards. This machine can take a wide range of printing stock up to 1mm.

Abu Dhabi Media Company’s flagship English-language newspaper, The National, has scooped 22 awards for the 30th annual Society for News Design competition. The global economic crisis looks to be having an impact on the relocation of printers to Dubai’s International Media Production Zone (IMPZ).
Managing director of Kwality Printing and Stationery, Haridas Mohanlal Bhatia said: “We have been allotted a space in IMPZ and are working on moving there but because of the slowdown we have to postpone the move, possibly until 2010.”
