Spectrum Digital Print Solutions has announced the availability of digital print services at The American University in Dubai (AUD).

Spectrum on Campus will serve up to 3,000 students who will now be able to access a range of printing facilities.

Managing director of Spectrum, Ramzi J Razian, described the facility by saying that it is not a conventional business centre but a fully-equipped print hub created to meet the exact needs of AUD students.

“Spectrum on Campus came about after requests and interviews with various departments at the university took place,” Razian said.

“The AUD faculty and students both said that easy access to quick and high-quality printing, copying and scanning services was of paramount importance for them.
“Spectrum on Campus will feature a full range of digital print solutions, together with laser marking, engraving and cutting facilities, ensuring that AUD students can see their material just as they intended.”

Director of Central Service at The American University in Dubai, Elie Sawaya added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Spectrum on Campus to AUD. Now anyone studying at our university will be able to immediately access professional print services. There are vital for students studying courses run by the Department of Architecture, Department of Interior Design, Department of Visual Communication and School of Engineering. Students will be able to print material produced in a variety of applications – including AutoCAD and AdobeInDesign – so that they can concentrate on their work, rather than locating and travelling to a printer off campus.”

Spectrum on Campus covers 800sqft across two units, one of which is exclusively for the use of AUD students.
