Fifty members from the Institute of Printing technology had gathered at Ramada Chelsea Hotel and announced several major plans to help each other and also to the printing and advertising industry by offering manpower, technical and technology support.
Silver Star, Afra, and Sona Commercials sponsored the event.
Talking about the event, one of the spokesperson from the group commented, "We started this group three years back to bridge all the gaps between the IPT students. The group always wanted to help the industry requirements through our group and that is one of the reason we started this group. The group serves as a centre hub between all the other IPT groups, IPTians, especially to those who are in gulf and to the industry so whenever there is any requirement they can be approached easily.”
They further added, "Soon we are planning to revamp the website which would allow us to have all the details of the IPT students. Along with that the site will have a job Portal where all the companies can post their job openings which will be seen by all other IPTians. New members can register to the website as soon as they complete the course to see and avail the jobs in Gulf. We have more than half a dozen employers, management staffs who came from the great IPT and now holding key positions across Gulf. We have plans to do seminars, lectures, and many more in the future.”
