Epson launched its next generation of superfast eco-efficient business inkjet printers, the WorkForce Enterprise, at a launch event in Dubai attended by Epson’s business partners from the region and media persons. This ultra fast 100ipm departmental colour office A3 printer delivers the ecological benefits that only inkjet technology can offer, providing a low power solution with fewer supplies at the price of a departmental laser copier. The WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20590 is joined by a 75ipm version, the WF-C17590, both designed to meet the needs of departmental office printing in corporates and SMEs, especially those that have peaks of high-volume productivity.
Khalil El-Dalu, regional sales manager, Epson Europe B.V., commented, “Despite its energy efficiency, performance is not compromised. Our products are always been developed in the interest of customer. Our EcoTank is having very good business but it don’t have enough speed for business and that is one of      the reason we launched WorkForce. Again, the WorkForce comes with the replaceable ink pack systems where the customer can select the packs based on their requirement from 4,000 pages to 75,000 along with that they can even choose the colours too. We don’t want to comment about the competitors but we are using the quartz element in the nozzles so it doesn’t require any heating element. It also gives us the edge to work with managed print services. In addition, we are entering the MPS segment with huge investment and it may take time to reach the customer but it will be efficient for them.”
