JCDecaux, an outdoor advertising company worldwide, announced that its subsidiary JCDecaux ATA along with LG Electronics and KKIA, has won a Guinness World Record for creating the world’s largest outdoor advertising billboard at King Khaled International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The advertising structure took over three months to complete and measures 250 x 12 meters, with a total surface area of 3,000 sq m.

LG’s advertising artwork was installed in only seven days, Trade Arabia reported.

The structure has been positioned on Riyadh Airport’s Access Road and enables LG to showcase the new LG G3 smartphone to the airport’s passengers, while communicating the brand’s identity.

“This project is a remarkable achievement for our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said David Bourg, Chairman of JCDecaux ATA and CEO JCDecaux Middle East. “This efficient and well-coordinated initiative benefited from JCDecaux’s expertise to overcome a number of technical challenges. It also underlines our commitment to adding value for our partners and enhancing the passenger experience through creativity, innovation and seamless implementation.”
