After having established their presence in the Middle East and Africa for more than 2 decades, Habras International has started operations in Dubai, UAE.  

Habras International is an extension of JK portfolio where they actively sell JK Copier and also other grades which are supplied by APP China like white wood free, coated paper, thermal, NCR, packaging boards, and many more. JK Paper, a unit of JK organisation is India’s largest producer of branded papers and a leading player in Coated Papers and High-end Packaging Boards where the company began its journey more than half a century ago.

Speaking about their future plans on environment friendly products, Vikas Gupta, business head of Habras commented: “Nowadays caring for the environment has been assuming much greater importance. This is true and not only for the final product but also for the process and technology used to manufacture these products. Definitely, there is a big potential for eco-friendly products all over the world, including the MEA region and that is why paper mills all over the world have started to plant maximum number of trees which shows their care towards the environment. Likewise, through Habras, we are putting all our efforts to constantly deliver and meet the environment requirements of this region.”

Talking about their business in the region, he added: “The new JK Copier is very well established here. Where initially with few containers were sold, now we are in the range of few hundred tons sales of JK Copier in Dubai itself. In addition, we entered into distribution of Thermal paper, NCR, wood free, coated paper, packaging boards, and many more from APP Indonesia as well as China which is also doing very well.”
