Ricoh adds two booklet makers to its fininshing solutions

Ricoh has expanded its range of  finishing solutions with two  new booklet makers - Duplo DBM 350 and Duplo DBM 600.
The Duplo DBM 350 and DBM 600 are heavy-duty booklet makers. Both can be connected inline to Ricoh digital cut sheet devices: the Pro™ C9100, Pro™ C7100 and Pro™8200 series presses.
The DBM 600 also supports A4 landscape booklet production with the long sheet printing capability on the Ricoh Pro C9100 and Pro C7100 colour presses.

SAI Flexi’s certification for HP Latex 300 series

Software company SA International (SAI) has had its Flexi wide-format printing and signmaking software certified by HP for use with the latest additions to its Latex 300 Printer series.
   Both SAI Flexi and the various SAI FlexiPrint HP Latex editions are certified on all four new additions to the series, the HP Latex 315, 335, 365 and 375 models, which were launched in September. The software has also recently been certified for the printers in HP’s Latex 500 series portfolio.

J-Teck3 expands J-Cube PNF ink series

Italian digital ink manufacturer J-Teck3 has added four new colours to its J-Cube PNF series of inks. The new inks, comprising four high-density colours – cyan extra, magenta extra, yellow extra and black extra – are specifically engineered for Panasonic printheads and are said to offer high-quality coverage.
The fast-drying inks are tailored for uncoated and thin sublimation papers and are said to provide printers with high productivity while reducing production costs.

Signmaking and digital display supplier Spandex has received media certification for 10 of its ImagePerfect substrates for use with the HP Latex 300 series of digital printers.

Colour management firm GMG has launched its new GMG ProofMedia OBA matte 150 proofing uncoated production paper.

Xerox has unveiled stainless steel nozzles ‘half width of the human hair’, for the new Xerox direct to object inkjet printer which it claims can print photos, images and text directly onto 3D objects in minutes, creating a new, label-less, on-demand method of personalizing three-dimensional objects.

Sinapse develops world’s first cloud-based print simulator

Paris-based software developer Sinapse has launched its Suite 8 print simulator, its first print simulator to be accessible from the cloud.

Suite 8 is available globally, but its cloud version is not accessible in China, due to firewall issues, according to Sinapse managing director Thierry Mack.

It is intended to be used as a training tool for schools and printing businesses to teach students and apprentices about the various types of print cost effectively.

Imex Printing Inks B.V. in Maastricht (Limburg) has been declared bankrupt by the court in Den-Haag. The insolvency number of this case is F.09/15/101.

    The release follows on from the launch of Magna’s environmentally friendly range of inks last April.
