Fujifilm has launched its new 3.2m-wide Acuity LED 3200R inkjet printer in May this year.

The LED UV Acuity 3200R joins the Fujifilm range of Acuity LED printers, which includes the Acuity LED 1600 II UV, launched in 2015, and the Acuity LED 1600, launched in 2012. Hohner upgrades saddle-stitcher, shown to customers at Drupa

German post-press supplier and manufacturer Hohner has announced that it has produced an upgrade and replacement to the HSB 8.000 saddle-stitcher.

Currently in test phase, the HSB 9.000 has a variety of improvements on the 8.000 model and was shown to the public for the first time at Drupa.

Digital printing film by the German manufacturer of self-adhesive speciality films is as of now also available in a matt version.  Named Aslan Ultra Tack, the polymeric self-adhesive film UltraTack matt ASLAN DFP 08 has an outdoor durability of 7 years.

Esko shows Kongsberg with auto feeder

Esko introduced its latest 3.2x3.2m cutting table with a new semi-automatic feeder for the first time at Fespa.

“It allows for semi-unattended operation,” explained Esko director of digital finishing Stuart Fox. “Printers are often producing 3.2mx1.6m sheets. This loads a sheet, cuts it, and the conveyor then advances it so the operator can start dealing with that piece while it cuts the next sheet.”

Mutoh completes ValueJet X series with new models

Wide-format machinery manufacturer Mutoh has launched two new additions to its ValueJet X series.  The new single-head 1.37m-wide ValueJet 1324X and the dual-head 2.6m-wide ValueJet 2638X models have replaced the VJ-1324 and VJ-2648 printers and are available with immediate effect through Mutoh’s reseller network.

Duplo launches iSaddle Pro stitching line

Duplo UK has launched the iSaddle Pro Digital System, which is targeted at commercial printers with high print volumes.

Mimaki hopes to tap into the burgeoning textile print market by launching a super-wide format inkjet printer this month.
