In the 3rd edition of the Global Writing Contest “Around the World in 80 Pages”, The Navigator, challenged travel enthusiasts to share their best adventures through an original story. On this 2017 edition, the contest registered 2,161 participant, from 77 different countries around the globe. Representing a 59% increase of submied stories and 18% more represented countries, in comparison with its 2nd edn.
According to the company spokesperson, “Until December 31st, participants gave use to their writing talent and revealed their most fascinating travelling stories. From hilarious adventures to deep emotional moments, to multiple cultures and locals visited.”
“The growing success of Around the World in 80 Pages have shown that participants are becoming increasingly aware that to experience new things through travel is as rewarding as sharing them,” explains Ricardo Ferreira, The Navigator’s global brand manager.
Apart from this, 4th edition of ‘Global Talent Design Contest’ started for the young design students and  professionals. Navigator will select 30 finalists from   all eligible proposals and the 30 shortlisted projects will   be reviewed by an independent jury. The winners will be revealed on the 30th of April 2018.
