Zünd has launched the new high-performance RM-L routing system for the sign and graphics market.
    The new router option is designed to handle a more challenging range of materials including MDF, acrylic, PVC, Dibond or aluminium. With the exception of carbides and stone the new tool can route, engrave and polish almost any material, according to the manufacturer.
    A key feature of the new RM-L module, which is available immediately, is its powerful, water-cooled spindle with pneumatic collet, which delivers 3.6kW of processing power and a maximum torque of 0.7Nm enabling greater speed and cutting depth.
     Described by Zünd product manager, graphics, Lars Bendixen as “a complete routing system”, it includes automatic router bit changer ARC HSK, Minimal Quantity Lubrication (MQL), a set of bits, a gantry, the ZCC option or a sealgrip underlay.”
    Zünd product manager for graphics, Lars Bendixen said: “The automatic router bit changer is a key feature, which can accommodate up to eight different collet holders. This allows a fully automated tool changing and significant increases of production automation and throughput.
