Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Giffin Graphics participated third time after hosting its biggest stand ever at this year’s Gulf Print expo measuring to 539 sqm.

The company, which showcased its printing and binding supplies and equipment, has exhibited at the event three times before.

The company showcased its flagship KBA Rapida 75 from its press section. The 15,000 sheets per hour press can print onto substrates of up to 0.6 mm thick.

In the pre-press section, the company showcased its Agfa thermal platesetter Avalon N. It uses a new-generation imaging head featuring 1024 beams that is based on GLV (Grating Light Valve) technology.

In post press, the company showcased the saddle stitcher from Muller Martini E90, as well as products from the paper processing giant, Hunkeler.

Giffin recently signed a deal with Océ to promote its digital document systems in GCC countries. They showcased Océ VarioPrint 6250 and CPS 900 Platinum digital production solutions.

Also at the stall , were promotions from Arjowiggins fine papers, Cougar thermal laminating machines, GUK folding machines, Horauf innovative machines, James Burn finishing solutions, Rollem bindery machines, Schneider Senator cutting machines and Apollo sheeters.

Established in 1978 in Abu Dhabi, Giffin provides digital graphics systems, machinery, supplies and after sales service to printers throughout the region.
