The fourth edition of the region’s leading trade fair for stationery, paper and office products, Paperworld Middle East 2014, got underway with 14% larger than the previous edition. Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurated the show who was accompanied by a number of senior industry representatives and senior managers from organiser, Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

Held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4th -6th March 2014, the show presented 274 exhibitors from 38 countries and received 6,540 visitors from 104 countries. In 2013 Paperworld  had 5,912 visitors and 240 exhibitors from 37 countries. Whereas in 2014 its is 14% and 10.6% more than the previous year respectively. Also the space  occupied by adding one extra hall was 9% more than the previous edition.

Double -A, Asia Pulp and Paper, April Fine Paper, Portucel Soporcel Group, 3M and other big names of paper manufacturers  exhibited the event showcasing their paper brands and office supply products.

Whereas Thiravit Leetavorn, senior executive vice president of Double A said, “The show displayed growing attention of paper industry in Middle East market. MENA is a pocket of growth and Paperworld is the perfect platform to connect with customers and business partners from this key regional markets.” 

V. Shreekumar, regional director of April Fine Paper said, “The show was satisfactory and gave us the return in terms of serious and new leads which we generally expect from these type of exhibitions.”
