B2B media in the GCC should build brands

The B2B media market in the GCC has experienced strong growth in recent years, but the industry remains small by international standards and needs to make changes to increase revenue.

This according to a new study by global management consulting firm, Booz & Company.

According to the study, B2B media should build their brands by taking advantage of the synergies between trade magazines and exhibitions to position themselves for growth.

Yemeni printer orders second Goss SSC press

Yemeni government-owned 14th October Foundation for Journalism, Printing and Publishing has ordered a Goss Community SSC single-width press.  It will print the daily newspaper 14th October.

Project manager at 14th October, Ahmed Moataz said: “We operate a Goss Community press and are confident in its print quality so we had no hesitation in ordering a second press.”

The new press will be configured as two four-high and two two-high towers with six reelstands and a Goss

The Saudi-Arabia based commercial printer, Abaker Printing, has installed  a Heidelberg XL 75-7LF.
According to Heidelberg, it is the first such installation in the Gulf.
While the deal was signed on May 7 last year, the machine was installed only recently.
Abaker Printing in Riyadh caters predominantly to banks, telecom companies and government departments.
It is also an approved printer by the Saudi Arabian Monitory Agency for security printing.
In addition, it is also an
