Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) is once again joining hands with the apex body of printing, packaging and allied industries in India to organise the second edition of the Print Pack Arabia trade show. The launch edition of Print Pack Arabia in 2014 was also jointly held by Expo Centre Sharjah and the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) had close to 100 exhibitors and attracted more than 5000 visitors from 77 countries.

“The upcoming edition  will take advantage of the thriving packaging market in the MENA, which is set to grow at a higher rate than the global market, underscoring the pre-eminence of the regional market and the significance it holds for equipment makers and dealers. I am sure together we can present a bigger event for the regional printing and packaging industry,” said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of ECS.

“We are delighted to continue our association with Expo Centre Sharjah. The inaugural show received tremendous response from the regional industry. We could facilitate the participation of a large contingent of exhibitors for the launch edition and we are happy to note that the interest shown by Indian manufacturers and suppliers is way above our expectations for Print Pack Arabia 2016,” said K S Khurana, president, IPAMA.

“With the UAE packaging industry relying heavily on exporting to other regional markets, which accounts for more than half of the trade volume. Our show will also offer Indian makers of latest machinery, equipment and allied products an opportunity to explore the GCC and Middle Eastern markets,” said C P Paul,  general secretary IPAMA. “Indian machinery manufacturers offer a good product at reasonable rates. This coupled with immediate deliveries and service reliability make them a great option for the Middle East printers” he added.
