Sharjah based screen and digital printer, Al Mithaliyah has invested in their fourth Durst printer.

Talking to PrintWeek MEA, marketing manager, Jayaram Kavalloor said: "We have invested in Durst Omega machine to cater to high end and special jobs which requires high quality flat bed direct digital printing. The customers are demanding creative and innovative displays for maximum brand enhancement. Hence we feed our production line with the latest and the best machinery available."

Talking about current market trend, Kavalloor added that the margins were affected but they could still maintain the growth rate by controlling the costs and increasing the volume of production.The press was formed in 1994 and has in-house production facilities for producing tailor made Point-of-Purchase/In-store displays.

Al Mithaliyah has three other installations of Durst Rho600, Rho800 and 800 HS. The newly bought UV Omega can do both flatbed and roll-to-roll printing on rigid and flexible material up to 5cm thick. The 35 sqm speed UV printer can achieve resolution of up to 1728 dpi.
