Manufacturers of laser and inkjet printing devices, Brother (International) has announced that it is expanding its market stronghold in the UAE as the company kicked off its Brother Premium Partner Program 2013 during a ceremony at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai.
Brother further revealed that it will conduct more market visits and strengthen marketing support to partners, while intensifying its collaboration with UAE authorities to crack down on illegal resellers and counterfeit syndicates.
Soichi Murakami, managing director, Brother Gulf said: “We are committed to strengthen our strategic alliances as part of our long term growth plan.
“Our partner program in the UAE has been particularly successful, giving us greater leverage to expand our market presence. The double-digit growth that our partners have achieved in the previous year further reflects the continuing success of Brother.
“We have already signed nine new partners in 2013 taking the total Brother Premium Partners to 21 in the UAE and we will continue to introduce more innovative ways to strengthen our network.”
In announcing the winners of Brother Achievement Awards 2012, the company also revealed that eight of its 14 premium partners have achieved double-digit sales growth in 2012,  and that nine new partners during the first quarter of 2013.
The manufacturer also announced more rebates will be offered on equipment sales, while a new “Platinum” category has been introduced. Moreover, it was revealed that partners will work on a two-month rolling forecast to ensure equipment and consumable availability.
