The European Rotogravure Association (ERA) is to host its second Digital Forum event, focusing on the status of digital printing technology in packaging and decorative printing, and its industrial use in these segments.
The conference program will include presentations from HP, Océ Printing Systems, DLH Printing Ink Technology, Adphos Digital Printing, Fogra and printer Immer Digital. On the second day, a visit to the Immer digital printing plant in Ventspils, is planned. The two-day event, starts on June 12-13 at Riga, Lativa. It follows ERA’s 1st Digital Forum last summer, which came to the conclusion that the current status of digital printing ‘is just the beginning’.
James Siever, ERA secretary general, said: ‘Packaging and decorative applications are increasingly being served by digital presses on the industrial scale.
