Xerox powers Print Outs Business Bay branch

Print Outs, Dubai opened their new branch in Business Bay which is powered by Xerox. This is the first company in United Arab Emirates to be powered by Xerox. Xerox team headed by Chris Govier along with Neil Dias and his mother inaugurated the new branch. Industry persons and media persons attended the inauguration.
The office is equipped with multiple machines from brands like Xerox, Afra, Graphtec and few more. Some of the machines are Xerox Versant 180 Press, Xerox Colour 1000, Epson Surecolor P20000, Afra’s Champion Foil machine, AeroCut Prime, Champion Automatic Glue Binding machine with creasing unit, Champion Stitch Star, Polar Mohar, Champion Lamination machine, Royal Sovereign Lamination machine, Graphtec machine and few more.

Giffin hosted an open house event on the same stretch of SGI

Giffin Graphics hosted an open house event during the same week of SGI Dubai and launched d.gen’s Papyrus 740K and Teleios Hexa direct textile printing. Apart from this, they have showcased Ricoh’s 3000i & 6000i tshirt printing machines, Shocklines products, Monti Antonio’s products, and many more. The event was hosted for Middle East, GCC and local customers.

Protection for MFP’s: Xerox

Xerox’s AltaLink  devices are the first multifunction printers to be certified by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) under new testing standards for  security protection profile for hardcopy devices. This new protection profile is based on the security requirements specified by United States and Japanese government agencies. NIAP is the U.S. government organization that ensures compliance with the global Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation.

Mimaki joins Signtrade at their celebration

Mimaki joined Signtrade International, its distributor in the United Arab Emirates to celebrate Signtrade’s 30th anniversary. The celebration coincided with the Sign and Graphic Imaging (SGI) 2018 show.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East. It also provided the opportunity for a listen- in to first-hand experience from industry leaders, connect solutions for overcoming challenges in the field, and enhance the brand and  business portfolio. 

     Steffan Ritt, VP-head of global marketing and communications, SLM Solutions Group commented:  “Since, this is the first kind of event in this region, it has attracted less number of visitors. However, the visitors and participants were more positive. Overall, the show went fairly well for us but we would have been happier if the organizers promoted the event well in advance.”  SLM Solutions were one among the gold sponsors of the event.

    Most of visitors commented that these kinds of exhibitions and conference should be encouraged to create more awareness about the 3D printing in this region.
