Mouvent unveils new technology for digital inkjet printing

Mouvent – a new company founded by a joint venture between Bobst and Radex has  introduced new technology for digital inkjet printing which uses clusters instead of fixed size print bars by colour, arranging them in a modular, scalable matrix. The result is one system that can be adapted for all substrates, of all widths, for all markets.

Bobst introduces digital print subsidiary, unveils machines

Bobst has launched a new subsidiary dedicated purely to digital printing, and signalled its first move into the textile and label printing space.
Mouvent was formed in late May as joint venture between Bobst and inkjet technology developer Radex but was given its official launch at its Wetzikon, Switzerland site in July. Bobst holds 50.1% of the shares and the rest are held by Radex shareholders, which has now ceased to exist as a company.

Flint Group launches flat top dot flexo plate

Flint Group has launched  flat top dot flexo plate, which they claim to provide significant fluting reduction on various corrugated boards from fine to rough flute.
The new photopolymer flexo printing plate, nyloflex FTC digital plate provides the benefits of flat top dots by processing it like any standard digital plate - no additional equipment, processing steps or consumables required. It is available in several thicknesses, from 2.84 mm (.112”) up to 6.35 mm (.250”) as of July 2017.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East. It also provided the opportunity for a listen- in to first-hand experience from industry leaders, connect solutions for overcoming challenges in the field, and enhance the brand and  business portfolio.
