Avery launches over laminate films

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions is claiming to be the first company to market a coloured cast overlaminate film designed specifically for vehicle wraps. The new transparent coloured overlaminates for the Conform Chrome series are available in orange, green & purple. The new overlaminates were launched in the UK this month, expanding the range of colours that can be achieved using Conform Chrome from five to 20 colours in total.

Applicators can use unaltered Conform Chrome colours and also combine them with the three Transparent Coloured Overlaminates. Avery said that with chrome finishes, currently gaining in popularity, the new products enabled even more creative effects.

Durst unveils its first 5m dye-sub printer at Fespa Digital

Durst used Fespa Digital as the launchpad for the world’s first 5m-wide dye-sublimation printer for the seamless production of soft-signage and fabrics.

Xerox makes sheetfed inkjet move with Brenva HD press

Xerox has set a competitive price point for its new B3-plus format sheetfed press, the Brenva.

The manufacturer confirmed that the Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press would be launched at Drupa.

Ricoh signals wide-format ambitions

Ricoh has used its Fespa debut to signal its intent to become a serious player in the wide-format sector.

The firm is showing, for the first time, the latest version of its Ricoh Pro L4100 series printers running its new aqueous resin latex inks.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East. It also provided the opportunity for a listen- in to first-hand experience from industry leaders, connect solutions for overcoming challenges in the field, and enhance the brand and  business portfolio.
