Epson launches UAE recycling program

Epson has launched a recycling programme in the UAE to enable their customers to send back used Epson products for recycling, free of charge.

All customers purchasing an Epson printer or projector until the 30th April 2019 can trade in their old printer or projector and receive up to AED 1,600 ($435) cashback. The old products will be taken into Epson recycling programme.

Jeroen Van Been, director of sales, Epson Europe BV said, "At Epson, we recognize the importance of preserving our environment. This recycling programme helps our customers to be more environment friendly by disposing off their old products in a safe, secure way through us. And that is not all, they also get cashback within certain limits. Once they upload their claim

3M hosts a special Illuminated Signage Institute event in Dubai

3M conducted a special Illuminated Signage Institute event on 13th February 2019. The full day training event was held at the 3M Innovation Center in Dubai Internet City, Dubai, UAE. 50 of the region’s biggest signage professionals were in full attendance at the informative event. Attendees to the event included 3M SELECT Platinum, Gold and Silver partners and they came from UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Pakistan.

SGI Dubai to extend into allied fields by 2020, announce organizers

The 22nd edition of Sign and Graphics Imaging 2019 show was officially inaugurated by Mona Ghanem Al Marri, director general of Dubai Government media office. One of the largest shows for the graphics and signage industry in the region was held from 13th-15th January, at DWTC exhibition halls.
  This year had reduced participation from many key players, attributed partly to the slower economy and increased cost of exhibiting.

HP and Dubai Cares launch Recycling campaign

HP has launched a new campaign, in partnership with Dubai Cares, titled ‘Reinvent Hope’, which aims to provide vulnerable children and young people with access to quality education, while addressing the region’s growing e-waste challenges.
