MEPCO & WASCO initiate leadership programme

The Middle East Paper Co. (‘MEPCO’) and its waste management wholly-owned subsidiary WASCO have signed a partnership agreement with King Abdulaziz University to launch a Leadership Programme for young Saudi nationals. The programme aims to provide Saudi youth with tools for raising awareness on environmental sustainability and its importance to the community.  To launch the programme, a campaign, titled ‘A License for Environmental Leadership’ was implemented.

Toyo Inks to expand business in Turkey

Toyo Ink Holdings Co, the parent company of the Toyo Ink Group of companies, has announced that its subsidiary company Toyo Printing Inks, a manufacturer of inks and coatings in Turkey, has decided to purchase approximately 62,000 sq. m. of land for the future expansion of its operations in the Manisa Province in western Turkey. The new plot is located in the Manisa Industrial Zone, the same industrial park that is currently home to Toyo Printing Inks.
