In collaboration with HP’s Anti-Counterfeiting and Fraud (ACF) Programme, authorities in the Emirate of Dubai have identified and confiscated fraudulent products. Jointly they have closed down two internationally active manufacturers and wholesalers of fake print supplies.
Between December 2017 and February 2018, the officials raided numerous premises across the region, including outlet stores, clandestine workshops, and hidden warehouses. In total, the authorities confiscated 35,400 illicit print components as well as 1,200 ready-for-sale counterfeit toner cartridges.
Through HP’s Anti Counterfeiting and Fraud (ACF) Programme, the company actively educates its customers and partners.
