Liberty printing press has bought Petratto Metro 78 folding & gluing machine from Afra.
Briefing PrintWeek MEA of reason for this investment, operations manager, Manish Mukundan says “Being around for 25 years in UAE print market, we were always into commercial printing segment, this investment will take us a step closer to packaging.”
Petratto is well known for its folding and gluing options and to have a closer look at the machine, I have visited the Petratto stand at Ipex2014 in London where I come to know that this is the machine which we had in our mind. In addition, the length of the delivery are extended which enables us to take in any complex or complicated packaging design in single pass and with the 6 glue guns which factually allows us to widen our spectrum of services to the customers.
Apart from offset, we do have a large screen-printing division that prints on pens, tshirts and sunshades. With this AED1m ($272,250) investment in Petratto machine, our ultimate focus will be shifted to SIM Card Packing Solutions and packaging solutions for fmcg products.
Manish says, “Our Petratro machine with its features is the only one with same specs in the middle east.”
