Youssef Allam Group, at an event in its Print Media Academy in Cairo launched Heidelberg Linoprint. This machine is in the production printing line of Heidelberg, resulting from the strategic alliance between Heidelberg and Ricoh. It will be distributed in Egypt through Youssef Allam’s newly launched company called “Aim”.  
According to Eng. Adel Allam – CEO of Youssef Allam Group, digital printing is growing in volume everywhere as showcased in Drupa 2012, so it was time to introduce it in Egypt. Heidelberg made the partnership with Ricoh optional for Youssef Allam. However, visiting Ricoh’s showroom in Germany sealed the deal for Allam due to Ricoh’s advanced R&D.  
“Despite of the relatively low positioning of Ricoh in Egypt, it’s the top brand in the second hand market, which indicates its high durability. Youssef Allam Group is sure capable of changing the brand positioning in the Egyptian market to a more positive one” Allam added.
