










Mimaki has moved into the industrial textile printing arena with the launch of its new Tiger-1800B printer. The direct-to-textile machine is the first Mimaki printer of this kind to be released, following the firm’s acquisition of Italian textile machine manufacturer La Meccanica in 2016.

Manufacturer Flint Group has launched a new range of EkoCure Ancora UV LED-curable low-migration inks for food packaging.
Having been in development for around a year, and having been beta-tested at companies in the US and Italy over the past three months, the inks were launched to the global market in October.

Ricoh has expanded its range of finishing solutions with two new booklet makers - Duplo DBM 350 and Duplo DBM 600.
The Duplo DBM 350 and DBM 600 are heavy-duty booklet makers. Both can be connected inline to Ricoh digital cut sheet devices: the Pro™ C9100, Pro™ C7100 and Pro™8200 series presses.
The DBM 600 also supports A4 landscape booklet production with the long sheet printing capability on the Ricoh Pro C9100 and Pro C7100 colour presses.

Software company SA International (SAI) has had its Flexi wide-format printing and signmaking software certified by HP for use with the latest additions to its Latex 300 Printer series.
Both SAI Flexi and the various SAI FlexiPrint HP Latex editions are certified on all four new additions to the series, the HP Latex 315, 335, 365 and 375 models, which were launched in September. The software has also recently been certified for the printers in HP’s Latex 500 series portfolio.

Italian digital ink manufacturer J-Teck3 has added four new colours to its J-Cube PNF series of inks. The new inks, comprising four high-density colours – cyan extra, magenta extra, yellow extra and black extra – are specifically engineered for Panasonic printheads and are said to offer high-quality coverage.
The fast-drying inks are tailored for uncoated and thin sublimation papers and are said to provide printers with high productivity while reducing production costs.

Xerox has unveiled stainless steel nozzles ‘half width of the human hair’, for the new Xerox direct to object inkjet printer which it claims can print photos, images and text directly onto 3D objects in minutes, creating a new, label-less, on-demand method of personalizing three-dimensional objects.
