Xerox’s newest digital colour tools, the Color 800i/1000i Presses will now offer silver dry ink at rated speed, the company announced.
According to the manufacturer, the Pantone metallic gold or silver specialty dry ink technology will ensure more profitable jobs, image accuracy and vibrant colours for clients giving them a creative, competitive advantage.
The 800i/1000i devices include an optional Specialty Dry Ink Station that enhances documents with metallic gold or silver dry inks or applies spot or flood creative effects with clear dry ink.
With the presses, printers can migrate lucrative foil stamping applications, such as invitations, certificates and business cards, to short-run, high-value digital production. Among the devices’ productivity enhancements is automation of critical press functions, time to production operational improvements and a new Xerox EX-P 1000i Print Server Powered by Fiery.
The Color 1000i Presses are available in the region.
