Abdullah bin Ali Al Aqeel, deputy minister for Internal Trade inaugurated Saudi Print & Pack 2014 - a trade fair for the printing and packaging industries in the Middle East region. A total of 520 exhibitors participated from 27 countries. The exhibition was hosted between 17th-20th February at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Saudi Polymers were the trade fair’s platinum sponsor, while Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and Tasnee were diamond sponsors and Saudi Printing and Packaging Company, the Silver Sponsors.

Dubai-based NDigitec participated at the expo. Sai Naveen, marketing manager said: “Yes, we were satisfied with the response from the exhibition except for the last day. We think Saudi Print & Pack should shorten the exhibition duration to 3 days to help reduce overall costs. We are planning to participate in the next edition of the exhibition as well. It makes business sense to us to exhibit at Saudi Print & Pack 2014 as NDigitec has a branch in Riyadh and a sales office in Jeddah too. The exhibition will help us in networking with our existing customers and help develop leads for new ones.”

NDigitec exhibited their pre-press products, digital flexo plates, D-board, online reprograhics and CGI products. Adds Naveen: “We have received potential leads for our range of digital flexo plates and D-board ready products at the exhibition and are close to finalizing a deal with a leading conglomerate in Saudi Arabia for our X60 CGI range. Among the technology on display, we were interested in companies producing multi-colour edge bands that can be used for our D-Board range of displays.”
