Duplo International, UK awarded the Dubai based Emirates Trans Graphics (ETG - their exclusive dealer in the Middle East, Gulf and Saudi Arabia for digital print finish products) as the best “New Distributor – 2014” for achieving ‘outstanding’ sales within their designated areas in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait & Saudi Arabia.

Jayaprakash, general manager - sales & marketing, ETG commented: “We were agents for Duplo only for Saudi Arabia earlier since two and half years.  And in 2014, we were appointed as exclusive dealers for all the Gulf countries including UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia as well. The award was for sale of Duplo collators, booklet-makers, perfect binders, cut score-slit-crease and perforating machines, table top folders and several other small finishers amounting to more than a million dirhams. 

“We at ETG / Ali Alhashemi Group do believe that the demand for finishing especially for the digitally printing segment is growing, and many of the conventional printers have already invested in digital printing solutions and many more in the process of investing and therefore inline, near line or offline finishing is definitely required. And no doubt, various manufacturers like Duplo, MGI, EBA and others whom we represent, who are manufacturing value for money equipment, with quicker make-ready, more  automation and quick turn-around, contributing in growth of sales of finishing products.”

Giving insight into future expansions Jayaprakash adds: “ETG /Alhashemi group always keeps abreast with the latest technologies and distributorships. However at present we do not have any plans to expand our product portfolio, as we have good line up of existing products and reputed manufacturers whom we represent and we are focusing to enhance our sales activities more aggressively in all our designated regions and especially Saudi Arabia.”
