Konica Minolta hosts 'Leading Colour Production' workshop
Konica Minolta Middle East had organised a sales workshop in Dubai last 17-19 April 2012 for Hoshan Group who is their distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The theme of the workshop 'Leading Colour Production' was focused on Konica Minolta's colour print production product range.
The event was attended by 10 people and demonstrations were done on Konica Minolta's press C 8000.
Talking to PrintWeek MEA, Marketing Manager Production Printing - Konica Minolta Middle East, Nayyar Ansari said: "KSA is the biggest potential in the Middle East and our best performance last year came from this country. We are focusing on this market and expecting our results to be bigger.

Hajen PP invests in Durst UV flatbed to cater high demand
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia based offset and digital printer, Hajen Printing Press has expanded their digital printing capacity by investing in Durst Omega 1 industrial inkjet printer.
General manager, Mobarak Al-Ghanim said: "We are increasing our printing capacity with this new investment. We have new requirements for jobs from domestic and gulf markets."

Printec receives good response in ME for laminator from D&K
D&K laminators distributed in the Gulf countries by Printec were well received by printers.

Zeej are first printers in KSA to invest in C8000 digital press 2012-03-01 1105
KSA-based Zeej Printing Press has invested USD 100,000 in the purchase of C8000, the digital press from Konica Minolta.
This is the first of such printer in KSA.

Al Firdous PP revamps binding line to cater to book demand
Sohar (Oman) based Al Firdous Printing Press has invested in Welbound 2000 OB 6 Clamp perfect biding machine.
Talking to PrintWeek MEA, Nikhil Dauria, managing director said: "We have demand for educational books and we needed a binder for quick turnaround. With this we can bid for larger quantities and get more sales."
