Other: HP set to be Drupa's second largest stand with 4,952 sqm

HP is to showcase its digital products and applications at Drupa 2012's second largest stand, a 4,952 sqm exhibition space.

While the manufacturer is remaining tight-lipped on whether it be will be demonstrating any new products, it has confirmed that it will be exhibiting a range of presses including Indigo, inkjet, large-format machines along with workflow, finishing, and business development technology.

HP GSB worldwide marketing director Franois Martin said: "We will be one of the largest exhibitors at Drupa because we are going to be demonstrating a wide range of products and applications including our T400 inkjet web press with finishing equipment, which together are almost the size of a bus.

"Our stand at Drupa aims to inspire printers with ideas on what they can be doing with their business over the coming years. We are going to deliver on our digital printing promises, demonstrate new applications, build on what we announced at Drupa in 2008 and help printers to better service their customers."

The manufacturer also looks set to expand on its HP Customer Kiosks from Ipex 2010, where HP customers were able to meet existing users, including Amberley Labels, Communisis, Gardners, Pixart, Polestar, Precision Printing, Prime Group, ProCo and SP Group, to learn about some of their latest applications developed with HP technology.

Representatives from HP user group, DSCOOP (Digital Solutions Co-operative), will be on the stand to talk to delegates about HP's technology and about how they can incorporate digital printing services into their business. "We will be asking printers to come and explain how they use HP technology and how it's helping them to grow and transform their business," said Martin.

HP is basing its presence on "complete end-to-end" solutions, including its SmartStream Workflow, HP Exstream communications management technology, web-to-print and MIS solutions and a range of tools and programmes available through its HP Capture business development programme.
