Other: Kodak shows new Versamarks
Kodak has said its new series of Versamark high-volume inkjet printers can "co-exist" with the company's Prosper technology after showcasing models from the new range at an event at its La Hulpe facility.
The manufacturer has launched eight new mono and colour machines for transactional, direct mail and newspaper printing applications.
The new Versamark systems comprise two entry-level mono engines, the Versamark 100 and the 150, while colour output is available on the 300 and 500 machines.
All four new Versamark models are modular and available in both narrow and wide configurations, denoted by an N or a W, for both simplex and duplex printing. Both feature a 520mm web width, with the narrow versions offering 2-up simplex, 1-up duplex and 1-up wide simplex printing. Meanwhile the wide configuration also offers 2-up duplex printing.
