Recently opened company, DigiTrading has brought hydrographic printing technology from India, to be introduced into the UAE market. Abdul Razack, managing director from DigiTrading, commented: "Hydrographic printing is a well-known technique in industry for transferring colour inks on a thin film to the surface of a manufactured 3D object. It enables high-quality colouring of object surfaces and works with a wide range of materials. “This technology has been around for 8-10 years or more and holds huge potential in the UAE. Automotives, household products and promotional gifts are among the various sectors who have effectively used hydrographic printing. We truly believe this is an interesting printing methodology and can be used effectively. Screen can print on flat/semi flat surfaces, now we have a technology that prints on any shape/surface."
