Dubai based Darvesh Group has started a new business venture ‘Darpap’ “the door to print and packaging supplies” which will distribute a complete range of printing and packaging consumables, material and substrates.
Talking to PrintWeek MEA, COO, AbdulMoid Syed said: “We are in the process of supplying printing consumables such as inks, plates, chemicals, post press materials and all types of substrates. “Our aim is to be a market leader in Afro Middle East countries within a span of 5 years with diversified products of print and packaging industry, pre-press, print, post-press equipments, machines with supplies/ consumables including paper.”
The company has warehouses and offices in UAE, Oman, Nigeria, Kenya, Durban, Cape town, and Johannesburg.
“Our warehousing facility in UAE is about 30,000 sq.ft ( 10,000 sq.ft in DIP and 20,000 sq.ft in Jebel Ali free zone) and we have plans to expand further,” adds Syed. “We have a long term vision of 10 years for this business, working in 7 different phases. With my 31 years of experience in this region, we can support the printers and converters in various ways."
