During the ceremony, Dr. Mona Abu-Tabl, head of print media section, presented her plans for improving education in the faculty.

She highlighted the positive impact of the long-lasting support of Youssef Allam & Co. through the regular donation of technical publications, educational media, organization of specialized seminars, hiring of section's graduates as well as assisting in post graduates research.

This ceremony was attended by Eng. Hamdy el-Kobaisy, executive director of Printing & Media at ETP, who stated that "it's amazing how this revamping created such an encouraging educational environment to students and staff alike." He added that added that 165 students from all grades would benefit from the refurbished facility, in addition to 35 staff members.

Established in 1948, Youssef Allam is the sole distributor of Heidelberg in Egypt and owns a paper-converting factory, Papyrus, which they claim to be the largest in the Middle East in operations and distribution.
