The SpectroPad and pressSIGN combination provides two options for adjusting the tonal curve. Users can choose a TVI target if they want to match an ISO standard like 12647-2 or they can select 4CX technology for accurate grey balance. In the large format print market where substrates are significantly different from standards like ISO 12647 the Barbieri SpectroPad gives highly accurate measurements from which pressSIGN can produce the tonal adjustments to give users the best possible visual result.
Simply measure a set of target patches with the SpectroPad, and pressSIGN will show the user how to adjust the tonal curve and, if able, the density of the ink. The launch of pressSIGN 5.3 features the addition of Barbieri’s SpectroPad to the list of supported spectrophotometers in pressSIGN. The combination offers users the ability to measure in M1, M0 and M2 and quickly and easily match whatever print standard required.
