Other: Heliozid Oce focuses on wide format segment with Dubai road show

Heliozid Oce had organised a road show in Dubai on 29th September 2011.

Talking to PrintWeek MEA, Philippe Husni, managing partner said: "The large format printing segment (LFP) was most affected during the economic downturn on both CAD and Graphics Arts side. But within the LFP market we see the trend changing from black and white printing to colour printing. Going with the trend, Heliozid Oce is showcasing the colour wide format printers from Oce and Canon, for users from different industry segments."

Kishore Vijayakumar, product manager, LFP said: "We are showcasing Oce ColorWave 300 and Oce ColorWave 600. The latter is using Oce CrystalPoint technology with the unique TonerPearls. These are melted inside the imaging heads and then ink is jetted onto the paper. The advantage with this technology is that it can be used on plain paper and Tyvek media with no need of specially coated paper. It has zero drying time and prints are water resistant."

Building on Oce's new partnership with Canon, Heliozid Oce offers the whole range of Canon large format colour printers. Heliozid Oce displayed a 44 inch Canon 12-head pigment ink printer, iPF 8300 for poster and signage printing. Company has also launched new glossy and satin Photo Papers in 320gsm and Microporous coated paper in 270gsm which are available from A4 to 60 inch roll size.
