Other: Comexi conducts first ME seminar for lamination and slitting

Suppliers of flexible packaging machinery Comexi Group jointly hosted a seminar with Al Madina for Advanced Technology in Cairo. The workshop was the first such event hosted by the suppliers for the ME region.

The two-day event was attended by 45 Comexi customers from Egypt and the ME.

Talking to Printweek MEA, Albert Lopez, of Comexi Technology Centre, said: "Our aim to organize workshops like these is to help printers understand new developments in technology and latest trends. That is the reason why we have combined this workshop with the other consumable supplier, Morchem S.A for lamination adhesive''.

Albert Chicote, lamination & coating product manager from Comexi talked of the new developments in lamination and updated participants about the features of the Nexus Comexi range, while Jordi Grochs, product manager-slitting & rewinding, shared details about the Proslit Comexi range.

Walid Soufi - marketing manager of Al Madina added ''We have additional plans of organising other events in flexo printing, prepress and PE Film technology in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as we realize such importance of workshops like these which help to increase awareness and also lead to better printing quality and less downtimes''.
