Other: Al Khobar based Al Jazeera Printing has expanded its machinery
Al Khobar based Al Jazeera Printing has expanded its machinery with a new acquisition of the four colour Speedmaster SM 52 in January this year.
Mohammad Battal Al Dossary said, "With increasing orders coming our way we wanted to increase our production capacity and quality, which made us opt for the Speedmaster. We already own a Manroland R204, GTO 52-1, and GTO 52-2. Heidelberg is the leader and largest printing industry manufacturer and Heidelberg Middle East is the best to handle after sales service, which tilted our decision in favour of the offset manufacturer."
The 33- year old print house, established in 1977, is also planning expansions in the digital printing segment.
Adds Al Dossary, "Recession has affected the local market strongly, but for us it was not major. We planned to buy this new machine during the worst period of the recession due to the quality and the commitment we serve the market with.
"Keeping Al Jazeera at the forefront of the major technological developments witnessed by our industry, has been the key to our success. Testimony to this has been our ongoing programme of investment in those areas of our service where these developments benefit our customers and improves the service we provide to them."
