Other: Konica Minolta and Hoshan to focus on KSA digital market
Konica Minolta and Hoshan Company had organized a Digital Print road show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on September 20, 2011. The show was targeted to exclusive high-end digital printing segment. The road show was attended by 150 customers from all major cities and from various business areas including professional printers, high profile government and commercial organizations where digital printing is a key element to their business.
Talking to PrintWeek MEA, product manager of production printing at Konica Minolta, Nayyar Ansari said: "The objective of this road show was to bring Konica Minolta production segment to the doorstep of those where professional printing is the life line. This show is now intended to carry on as a brand.
"The layout had three corners, Colour Production, Mono Production and Office Products. As expected, the highlight of the road show with major footfall was on colour production corner which had Konica Minolta Press C 8000, Press C 7000 and newly introduced Press C 70hc.
"Hoshan Company had success in closing orders at the road show and could generate strong leads.
"Saudi Arabia remains as the biggest potential for professional Digital Print Segment and the opportunity to grow is massive. Over the years, a lot of awareness has gone in to Saudi market and customers are now very keen to implement new avenues in to business.
"The road show was well attended by senior management from both Hoshan Company and Konica Minolta. From Hoshan, present at the occasion were Rakan El-Hoshan, Ghassan Odeh, Iftikhar Awan and Khaled Moubacher. From Konica Minolta, present at the occasion were Koichi Suzuki, Harry Komori, Chris Stamoulis, Kazim Mankani and Nayyar Ansari," he said.
