Levant

Other: Special mag for Palestinians

Development & Media Freedoms (MADA) and WAN-IFRA, has launched the debut issue of MADA El-E'lam, the first specialised magazine on media affairs in Palestine.

"We hope the magazine will make a contribution towards highlighting the problems in the Palestinian media and become a vital resource for journalists by providing exclusive information," said MADA editorial director Mousa Rimawi.

MADA is a nonprofit organisation that seeks to develop the Palestinian media, defend journalists and monitor media freedom violations in the Palestinian territories.

MADA El-E'lam will be issued every two months and distributed free to journalists, media houses, governmental and civil society organisations in West Bank and Gaza Strip.
